God Be With You Till We Meet Again

Today,  December 23, 2008 at 9:22 a.m. my dear grammy passed away. For over a month she suffered by not being able to eat anything and barely taking any sips of liquids. But now, she is with her loved ones and with her Heavenly Father. She was an amazing example and a big part of my life. I will always remember the wonderful memories that we made through out my life and I'm so grateful that she was my grandma. I'll miss her down here on earth, but I know that she is a lot happier where she is now. I also know that I will see her one day, because our Savior died for us, so that we may be able to be resurrected. I love her so dearly and she'll always be in my heart.

In Your Love, My Salvation Lies

Hey everyone,
So, I was checking up on people's blogs, and that was when I realized that I haven't updated on my own in a while. Pretty much, life has been good to me. I'm getting through school without going insane, I went to a convention with my friends, and I've had some fun times with my family. Speaking of my friends, I just want to tell them how much I love them. I'm not sure if they know how much I truly appreciate their friendship. Everyday when I wake up in the mornings, I look forward to when I get to see them either at school, church, or at one of their houses. They always make my days so much happier and I honestly don't know what I would do without them. They are what keeps me going throughout my life. I appreciate everything they've done for me and all of the wonderful memories we've made and will make in the future. They are absolutely amazing and I always want to be there for them. I love them so much and I hope that our friendship will always continue to grow. Thank you my friends! :)

Here's a picture of us after we went on our very first Pandaventure!!

And here's some cute pictures we took out in the backyard.

We live in a beautiful world

Lately I've been wanting to go up to the mountains and just sit there and enjoy the beauty of this earth. Whenever I go outside, I lay on my grass and listen to the wind blow through my trees. Nature is a wonderful thing and I feel that I need to take more advantage of it.

Martin's Cove Trek

This is my ma and pa who were the best!

Here we are on the way home, which seemed to take forever.

Here I am pulling Andie and Kylie in the handcart after loading off our stuff.

This is my family. They are so awesome!

Here's my family and I by the statues at Martin's Cove

Here's my family and I pushing the handcart.

Hey everyone,
So, last saturday I got back from the Martin's Cove Trek. I thought it was a really good experience and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I enjoyed getting to know my family and I absolutely love my ma and pa. Surprisingly, I didn't get any blisters. Yay! ^_^
Well, I think that's about it. Have a great summer everyone!

Time Flies By Quickly

Wow. I just realized that I haven't posted anything up, since March and it's already June. Oops...Well, a lot has happened since March. One thing is that Aaron, my sister's brother-in-law, is staying at our house till the end of July. It's really awesome, cause since he originally lives in New Mexico, I can now spend more time with him and become better friends. Another thing is, I turned 16 in May. Whoo!! Also, SCHOOL IS OUT!!! HOORAH!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited now that it is summer time! I can now actually do things that I want to do without having to worry about stupid school related things.
Well, that's pretty much the really important things that have happened this I last posted. I'll try my best to keep posting on a regular basis. Have a great summer everyone!!!

Promptings in life

Oh my gosh. I love the gospel sooooooo much. I can't even express my gratitude for it, because my gratitude too big for words. Okay, so today after Young Women's, my friends Riley and Meghan sat with me in the Church kitchen and we just had a spiritual discussion. It wasn't as big as one that we've had before, but it was really good. Then after that, I swear that the spirit was just bursting out of us, because we had another discussion out in the cold that last for about 30 mins. (believe it or not Riley and Meghan) And we feel that should should be proactive in our lives and do more spiritual things such as scripture study and spiritual conversations weekly. We also feel that we need to do something for those who are in poverty/need of help, such as Africa, Mexico, South America, and all those places. We really want to start some type of campaign or anything that can help them. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. My friends and I will deeply appreciate if you have any information. Thank you so much!! Also, if you have any chance to help someone, do service, etc, take the time and do it! You can bless lives and that is what our Savior would want us to do.

Japanese IQ Test

Whoa!!! This thing is amazing! So, my dear sister Tiffiny sent me this and at first I thought I couldn't do it. By some miracle it only took me eight minutes to do. ^^
So, I challenge all of those who read this to try this IQ test. Once you finish it's easy to do it again.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

Oh Josh Groban. Why are you so wonderful?? This man is such an amazing person and I don't know how anyone could not like him. I mean, just look at him! He's so happy and attractive. His songs are so uplifting and they have helped me in my life. So, yeah. I've just been on this huge Josh Groban high for 3 weeks now with my friends Riley and Meghan. It's been a lot of fun, cause we made shirts, ordered some wristbands and want to get these absolutely beautiful posters of him.

This video is of one of the songs that has helped me a lot. I love it so much!! It's You Are Loved (Don't Give Up) and just from the title you can tell that it is an amazing song. Pretty much, Josh Groban = EVERYTHING GOOD IN THIS WORLD.

Also, this song...Holy moly. It is so beautiful and I love it as well! This is one of my all time favorites and  yeah. This song is just really cute and amazing.

P.S. (Sorry for the videos. I just can't help it.)

Our Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley

President Gordon Bitner Hinckley was an amazing prophet. During the time he served as prophet, he did many wonderful things. I am so grateful that he was my childhood prophet. The words he has spoken have inspired me so many times and I'm thankful that I have been able to listen and follow him. He has been a wonderful example and I'm glad that he is now with his wife in paradise. May we always remember him for the great man he was.
